PRODUCT TERMS
Product terms
In force from 14 October 2026.
NOT OPEN YET Purchasing isn't open yet. The trial is free; the purchase and refund provisions below describe the planned paid service.
These are the terms on which an order pass for RosterPress is sold. They are written to be read. Where a word has a particular meaning here, it is the meaning this site gives it.
1. Who sells, and through whom
RosterPress order passes are sold by John Singh, an individual in the United States ("we", "us").
Purchases are sold through Link. Link (Sold through Link, LLC, an affiliate of Stripe) is the merchant of record for your purchase: it takes your payment, adds any sales tax and sends your receipt. We remain the seller of the product and answer for it.
Your purchase is also subject to Link's terms (its "Sold Through Link Terms") and to Link's refund policy.
2. What you buy: an order pass
An order pass unlocks the production exports for one order in the RosterPress tool: the PDF production packet, the packing labels and the clean CSV. It covers every later version of that order, so a revised roster for the same order needs no second pass.
An order is one customer job: one title, with the roster files and the answers that belong to it. A pass is tied to the order it was bought for and unlocks no other order.
It is a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription, and nothing renews.
The pass is a short signed text. The tool checks it in your browser and keeps it inside the order file, so the pass travels with that file.
A pass doesn't buy storage, a licence for other orders, or any work by a person.
3. What is free
Everything before the paid step is free and needs no account: importing a roster and mapping its columns, the questions the tool raises and your answers, the roster and the proofs on screen, the review file for your customer and their approval, the change report, "Check a printed code" and the order file. A trial copy of the packet, the labels and the CSV, marked TRIAL COPY · NOT FOR PRODUCTION on every page, label and row, is free too.
4. Price and tax
An order pass costs $19, in US dollars, plus any sales tax. Where tax applies it is worked out and added at checkout.
This is the first price being tested, and it may change. You pay the price shown at checkout when you buy. There are no discount codes.
5. Where it is sold
Passes are sold to buyers in the United States for now. The tool shows the purchase step only to visitors in the United States.
6. Delivery
After payment is confirmed, software issues and applies the pass automatically. Checkout returns you to the tool, the payment is confirmed with the payment provider, and the pass is issued and applied to your order. No person takes part.
If the return is interrupted, "Help with a purchase" in the tool attempts to recover access. You need the browser, or the order file, that holds the order. If recovery fails, follow the refund instructions in section 7.
7. Refunds
Purchases are sold through Link; a refund is requested from Link support within 60 days and decided under Link's refund policy, which covers a purchase that wasn't received or is significantly not as described.
If your pass didn't arrive or doesn't unlock your order's exports, "Help with a purchase" in the tool attempts to recover access, and if that fails we support a full refund.
How to ask is on the refund page. Nothing in these terms limits Link's refund policy: where it gives you more than these terms do, it applies.
8. No work by a person
RosterPress is software. No setup, file fixing, design, data entry, call or custom work is sold or included, at any price.
9. What the tool does, and what stays with you
The tool keeps what your customer wrote and asks about what it finds unclear. It flags, and it never fixes. It doesn't decide what is correct.
Checking the proofs, what your customer approved, and what you produce are yours. Before production, check the version code on a printed page against the tool.
An approval recorded in the tool is your record of your customer's answer. It isn't a signature, and it doesn't prove who answered.
The tool does not upload your orders. They are kept in your browser and in the order files you save, so we don't have them and can't recover them.
10. If the tool doesn't do what this site says
If an export is wrong, or the tool doesn't do what this site says it does, the refund rule in section 7 applies.
The tool is provided as it is. Beyond the refund rule we make no other promise about it, and we aren't responsible for the cost of garments or other work produced from an order. Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you that can't be waived.
11. The software
The tool is our own work. It includes open-source components (ExcelJS, pdf-lib, fontkit, noble-ed25519 and the IBM Plex typefaces), each used under its own licence. The list of components and their licences is published with the site.
12. Changes, and contact
If these terms change, the new wording is published on this page with its date. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones published when it was made.
